Игры про выживание и на выживание (да, действительно есть разница), известные так же, как выживалки и survival-игры, стали невероятно популярными в последнюю декаду. Достаточно трудно сказать, с чего именно начался бум игр выживание, однако, есть подозрение, что и здесь не обошлось без Minecraft, в которым были и есть элементы жанра. Впрочем, это не так важно. Куда важнее – это то, что буквально каждый день в Steam появляются игры про выживание, с выживанием в качестве одного из аспектов геймплея и элементами жанра survival, в качестве вишенки на торте. Лично нас это безмерно радует, потому что к этому жанру мы испытываем исключительно теплые чувства и надеемся, что в нашем каталоге вы найдете выживалку для себя по вкусу.

Игры в жанре выживание (от англ. Survival) – это такие игры, где основной задачей и главным элементом геймплея является необходимость не дать своему персонажу умереть. Традиционно, игроку предлагают утолять голод, жажду, залечивать раны, следить за температурой тела, искать убежище, добывать еду и т.д. Большинство игр жанра, впрочем, ставят перед игроком также и какие-то более далеко идущие и интересные цели – например, выбраться с острова, из леса или с какой-то планеты. Очень часто игры выживание соседствуют с песочницами или вовсе являются одним из аспектов геймплея в них. Как правило, такие игры про выживание с крафтом и строительством, что делает их куда интереснее и залипательнее.

Игры про выживание на ПК – это самый распространенный тип survival-игр на данный момент. В таких играх выживание – это ваша основная цель, поэтому игра создает вам все условия для того, чтобы этот процесс не был слишком простым. Здесь вам предстоит выживать на острове, в лесу, в горах, на неизвестной планете, в условиях зомби апокалипсиса и т.д. При этом у вас будут трудности с едой, водой, иногда температурой тела и, конечно, самыми разными врагами, которые захотят вас применить в качестве снэка. Игры на выживании для ПК – это уже немного другая история. Очень красивая на вид и очень спорная по содержанию. Создана авторами Ark: Survival Evolved, и ходят слухи что должна была стать лишь DLC для нее. Вышедшая буквально недавно игра еще не успела разобраться со всеми багами и недочетами, которых так много, что игроки массово возвращают деньги и пишут гневные отзывы.

ATLAS посвящена выживанию в море и на островах, где все путешествуют в качестве пиратов. А это значит – корабли, револьверы, мечи и прочая атрибутика. Присутствуют и элементы фентези, мифические создания, спрятанные сокровища. Из отзывов можно сделать вывод, что проект получится довольно хардкорным, то есть требует усидчивости и много свободного времени. В одиночку тут выжить нереально, поэтому собирайте свою команду и на борт!

Но для войны нужно множество второстепенных вещей – материалов и расходных предметов. Этим и занимаются здесь мирные ремесленники, очень важные люди, без которых ни мечи ни стены сами собой не материализуются.
